Figure and Catalyst Brands have signed a commercial agreement to deploy humanoid robots in Catalyst’s distribution and logistics network. The initial work will take place at a Reno, Nevada facility and target physically demanding supply-chain tasks.
Catalyst operates a portfolio that includes JCPenney, Aéropostale, and Brooks Brothers. That mix gives the partners a test of whether one general-purpose robotic platform can move across multiple retail operations.
The announcement does not disclose fleet size or commercial terms. Those details will matter when evaluating whether the deployment becomes repeatable infrastructure or remains a limited program.
